The location is good the car garage is comfortable the internet service free of charge although pretty much slow and fresh sweet apples every single day in the lobby also pretty spacy rooms and not so much noisy rooms even those turning to the street
What very much disturbed me is the stubborn smell of cigarette's smoke in the room althouth the room was for non-smokers -clearly someone before me was smoking in this room and also in the bathroom
Very near to the U-Bahn, just 1 minute away! Very close to the city center! Excellent reception personel. Kitchen in rooms! You can cook by yourself! This is not a luxury hotel, but it`s good value for money.
Rather little rooms. And some rooms may be noisy, because of traffic.
Mostly i was happy to stay there. On the desk there was a leer bottle of water when I arrived. Although the room war very clean, it gave me an uncertain impression, whether the room was really cleaned up or not. Furthermore somebody came in with the spare key (clean service) in the morning about 8 o'clock while i was still in Bett. The hotel is very big and I wonder how the hotel manages cleaning personals. Probably the person had no information of which rooms are occupied and which are not, because he repeated the same mistakes with other hotel rooms when I left the hotel. This point definitely needs to be managed better.
The staff was friendly, spoke English really well, and was happy to help us navigate the city. The room was enormous (by European standards), very clean, great bathroom and shower. It was a block from the U-Bahn, and two stops from the central train station--so excellent location. Easy to get to Oktoberfest from here!! Room was fairly quiet considering we were on the street, but there was little outside noise to begin with.
Closeness to the patent office.
There is no facility for afternoon and evening food.
Can be a bit noisy at night if you have a room facing the street.
The location suited us as it within walking distance of Marienplatz and the city centre. Also the breakfast was very good value, with lots of choice.
There was no air conditioning, which would be an issue in the summer months as the traffic is quite busy and also there is a church across the street from the hotel, and the bells start each morning at about 7am, so opening your window really isnt a good option. There is a small lobby, but t is only really big enough to wait for a taxi. Not somewhere you could meet and chat.
Very comfortable hotel, nice staff, close to metro station and city center.
The Kitchenette in the room, good guiding by reception staff.
This is in a very nice area with places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk. The centre of Munich is about 10-15 minute walk. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was nice. As it was a weekend visit we never stayed in the hotel to use facilities.
Very comfortable as long as you have one of the larger rooms-the smaller rooms are too cramped. It is well situated in terms of a short walk to he city centre and good coffee houses nearby.
Attitude of reception staff which ranged from being very very friendly and helpful to the exact opposite- E.G. when asked what attractions were worth going to see on a Sunday we were told in a very curt and unfriendly manner that everything was closed ( this being completely incorrect). The hotel needs to be aware of the inconsistent attitude of staff depending on who happens to be on duty!
This was my second stay at the hotel and this time I had even more homely feel about it.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable and there is a kitchenette in the room! The towels were very soft and bathroom was nice and large enough to feel yourself comfortable. The location is superb - 1 min walk to Metro and tram (nr 27) station. Walking to the Marienplatz takes 10-15 min. The neighbourhood is safe and nice. We did not take breakfast at the hotel - so I cannot say anything about it but there are lots of very good restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood.
Everything was perfect. Maybe it is good to know that you should pay in advance for your staying in hotel.
Nice Hotel. Staff was really nice and helpful. I had an individual room but there was plenty of space, very clean and tidy. Although breakfast was not included during my stay I decided to pay extra money to enjoy a really well served and varied breakfast. It is quite closed to subway (Fraunhoferstraße, 100 metres?!), so in 5 minutes you are in the Munich Central Station. From the hotel, I think it takes around 15 minutes walking to the city centre. As well, they have a nice booklet with plenty of information about different services that you can find in the surroundings. I found that information quite useful. Honestly, I will choose that hotel again if I have to come back to Munich.
If you want to use internet in your room you have to pay. From my point of view the rate is expensive. Of course, you can use internet for free in the hall.
Modern, clean, new, fresh. Young, attractive staff, humorous and courteous. Spoke excellent English. Very large room. Excellent proximity to Marienplatz. The kitchenette was very useful.
Difficult to park your car during check in as the streets are jam packed. Internet is not free in the room. Poor ventilation and bathroom smells from other rooms. No dish soap or sponges for the kitchenette.
